Selection Protocol for Event Participation

The Selection Protocol for Event Participation outlines the eligibility requirements, application procedures, and evaluation criteria for students seeking to take part in one of the major events organized by the institution:
- Digital Future
- Digital Congress
- TEK-UP Study Trip
These events are considered major events due to their academic, professional, and cultural significance.
1. Eligibility and Application Process
Participation is open to students who meet the selection criteria listed below within the limits of available places.
Application Process:
- Submit the application form (first step).
- The first selected students will sit for an English Test according to communicated date.
- Submit required hard copies of documents by the specified deadline.
- Additional steps may include:
- Attending an interview (depending on the event).
- Participating in a gathering or orientation meeting on time.
2. Selection Criteria
- Academic Achievement: Consistent academic performance, high grades, and a strong educational record.
- English Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Social Commitment: Involvement in social, clubs, or community initiatives that reflect responsibility and leadership.
- Motivation: A clearly expressed motivation for attending the event, demonstrating interest and enthusiasm.
3. Exclusion Criteria
- Students selected for a major event will not be eligible to participate in another major event organized during the same year.
- Students may apply again the following year for a different major event if they meet the eligibility requirements.
- Failure to comply with event rules results in disqualification from all future events.
- Any discrepancies or false details between the application form and submitted documents lead to immediate disqualification and a one-year ban.
4. Selection Score Criteria
Each applicant will be scored based on the following criteria. The maximum score is not fixed.

5. Required Application Documents
All applicants must submit the following documents. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- Motivation Paragraph: 500 characters maximum (exceeding will cause exclusion).
- List of Academic Achievements (Year N-1).
- Baccalaureate transcript.
- Copy of Student ID or Passport (for international students).
- Language Certificate (optional but recommended).
- Certificates of Social Engagement: official documents verifying involvement in volunteering, student organizations, or community service.
- Proof of Winning a Competition: certificate or document showing participation or achievement in competitions.
- Proof of number of participants in the competition you won.
