Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer's network.

To a make your degree more valuable and interesting, TEK-UP has selected this industrial certification instead of the academic version of CCNA.

What is the difference between industrial CCNA and academic CCNA?

The academic CCNA is a program conceived for college and universities to help students in improving their knowledge in the field of data communications. The training is divided into four modules. For each module, a test is scheduled and taken in the Cisco Networking Academy, which is in almost all cases your university. If you pass the tests, students will receive a certificate of attending to this program.

However, the industrial CCNA is the official CCNA certification of Cisco that can be achieved only with taking the exam in a PearsonVue center. This certification is recognized by all employers.

CCNA Routing and Switching is for Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience. The CCNA Routing and Switching validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.

Upon accomplishment of the CCNA program, our students pursue with the next level: CCNP program.
